Born in the surf of Cape Lookout, raised on journeys abroad.
Our inspiration originated on the beaches of the Outer Banks, but our journeys have gone far beyond that. From deep drop fishing south of Key West, chasing Mahi and learning to surf in Costa Rica, to getting skunked and running out of beers off the Yucatan Peninsula.
Every story along the way has reinforced our love for adventure, finding the hidden gems off the beaten path, and making friends at the local watering hole.
At Calo we try to capture those stories in gear worthy of accompanying us on the next trip.
Keeping our beaches clean
We believe that the only thing that should be full of shit is your fishing tales, not our beaches and waterways. We donate a portion of every sale to local organizations making an impact.
We make stuff we want to wear. Period.
Every product goes through the filter of "would we wear it?" We like gear that is comfortable, durable, and with a cool design. If it doesn't do that, it doesn't get made. Life is too short for lame gear.
